I got a good buy on a big pork butt yesterday. I assumed it could be used with my new Instant Pot. I’ve been cooking my way through a library cookbook for pressure cookers. However, it has recipes for shoulder instead. I’ve done pork butt in a crock pot several times and jsut turned it into shredded pork afterwards. I was hoping to do something a little more varied this time. Could I cut it into appropriate weight pieces and substitute it for the recipes calling for pork shoulder?
FYI, I have a little Instant Pot . But I can thaw and divide it into smaller pieces to return to the freezer for a later date.
