I NEED HELP! The ultimate cheap and healthy snack has got to be popcorn, but how much can it be elevated. Right now I heat up a 6 qt pan and add about 3-6 tbs of organic unrefined extra virgin coconut oil. I had about 3/4-1 cup of Whole Foods heirloom popcorn kernels after the oil has heated up and popped a few test kernels and let it sit for a few seconds off the heat. I quickly return it to the heat and cover allowing a slim bit of steam to come out. After popping fully I dash some salt and garlic powder on top and store it for days. Yes this is pretty basic but it comes out amazing every time.
