Hi all, I’ve been using the tips in this sub to cut down my junk food snacks, still need some help on alternatives to swap in for sweet and sour candy like skittles, fizzy cola bottles, etc and caramel corn. Any suggestions?
My journey so far:
Chips – swapped for spiced roasted chickpeas/edamame beans, don’t miss chips at all
Caramel corn – swapped for homemade cinnamon popcorn. Not as nice, still miss packet caramel corn, but it’s bearable. Any suggestions welcome to make it easier on me though
Protein bars – swapped for natural peanut butter and cacao balls, actually prefer these to the bars you buy
Skittles and fizzy cola bottles – I’ve tried homemade citrus popsicles and frozen grapes dipped in lemon juice. They just don’t hit the spot. I can see them replacing warheads etc, but they’re just not helping me kick my skittles habit. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
